Hopeite with parahopeite (TL) - Kabwe Mine (Broken Hill Mine) Zambia
Nice group of hopeite crystals well developed and associated to transparent micorcvrystals of parahopeite. in one broken crystal is clearly visible the white "core" of hopeite , surrounded and partialle replaced by a crust of parahopeite Pictures taken with white led light and halogen lamp .The specimen come from a Geologist collection who worked at that mine in 1975- 1980.
